Legacy or Legs as we call him was born on May 7. He is named after my mother who recently passed away so he is special to me. He even has a perfect heart on his shoulder that I know my Mom put there for me.
He was a red bag delivery so I am glad I have an equipage system. I arrived and after breaking both bags Mandalay pushed him out with no further ado. He has the longest legs. He was 22 inches at birth. His mom is 30 and dad is 32 so where the height came from I have no idea.
He appears black but has gray blue eyes so believe he will be smokey black like his mom. My plans are to keep him forever. I will geld him and teach him to drive. With those flashy legs he will be something!!

Cajun was born May 10. I thought after the red bag of Legs that this birth would go normal but not this year. Mystic went into labor and all seemed fine. When the foal started coming out, I checked the bag for the nose and two feet. Unfortunately I could only find one foot. I went in and found the other knee. I had to go further in to find the foot which was folded at the knee and work it forward. It was a stressful time for me and the mare. I wasn't sure the little guy had made it but he did. He was rather slow to get up and nurse but once he got going all was good. I thought he was going to be a buckskin like his dad but now it looks like hw ill be black like his mom. He is staying small and has a gorgeous head. |

Introducing our first Golly foal. He actually belonged to Cre at Cedar Pointe Miniatures but I fell in love with him so I traded my mare, Sassy, for him. He is very refined with a tea cup muzzle. He was 17.5 inches at birth. He should mature at 30-31 inches. His Dam, What a Tease, is an appaloosa and this little boy is starting to spot out with black spots. He and my other two boys are having a ball being boys. I am wild about them all and have no idea who to sell! |

Here is another Oh By Golly colt. He was born in September and he is a doll. He came from Cedar Pointe Miniatures like his half brother, Blade. He looks like he will be a grullo. We are excited about all our boys this year. It will be fun to watch them grow and develop. Decisions will be made later as to what they end up doing. |
